With a growing network of over 15,300 farmers, we collaborate with cooperatives, women-led groups, and local governments to drive agricultural transformation across the region.

Position Summary

We are looking for a dynamic Grant Officer to spearhead our funding initiatives, craft compelling grant proposals, and nurture relationships with our donors.

This role is crucial in securing the financial resources necessary for AgriTech Analytics to amplify its impact on smallholder farmers throughout Kenya and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue grant, award, accelerator, and funding opportunities.
• Lead the preparation and submission of grant proposals and applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop proposals.
• Create detailed project budgets and necessary documentation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with donors and partners.
• Ensure compliance with grant requirements and reporting.
• Monitor grant deadlines, deliverables, and reporting timelines.
• Draft impactful reports, concept notes, and presentations for stakeholders.
• Maintain an organized funding opportunities database.
• Assist in fundraising and partnership development efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Project Management, Business, Agriculture, Communications, International Development, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in grant writing, fundraising, business development, or donor relations.
• Proven track record of successful grant applications.
• Strong skills in proposal writing and report generation.
• Excellent research, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience with donor-funded projects is a plus.
